This past weekend I hosted my very own moving sale, full of my very own home decor and furnishings. But while it might have just been a "moving sale" to all of you, it was much more to me...you see, for the last 3 years I have been dreaming of opening up my own shop; a shop full of all the things that make a home feel like a home.
And for most of those 3 years I have dreamt of opening up my own home for others to come and shop my personal collection of home goods. I wanted others to come into my home and see how I pieced things together, how I used my small budget to make a big statement. However, every time I planned on opening up this little "home shop" we ended up moving (twice in fact).
So this time, I decided that I would kill two birds with one stone...sell some of my personal belongings in order to lighten the load when we do move in 2 weeks and showcase my love for design and decor at the same time! Throwing this event together in such a short period of time was no easy feat but I was so incredibly blessed by family AND friends who stepped up to help in more than one way.
So I want to give a special shoutout to my husband and mother-in-law for going above and beyond to help with the kids, and getting all my little projects in order; Jamie and Sarah Eldridge, for not only helping me dream big on this event, but for going a step further and creating and putting in motion a series of ads/promotions that brought so many of YOU to my door; to my dear friend Cheryl who gave up so much of her time to help me organize, and conduct this event; and to both of my sister-in-laws for their unending support and love.
There are so many more people that I know I've missed but please know that my appreciation is great and I am so VERY thankful for everything this event brought! Now here are a few pictures for those of you who couldn't make it, and for memories sake! :)
Thank You For A Great Moving Sale!
This event truly was a dream come true and I am so excited to see what's to come in the future! I truly cannot thank you all enough, especially those of you that attended!!
