If you've stayed up to date with my latest blog post, you know that I recently launched my own t-shirt line called the "She Is Brave" collection. And while this endeavor was never one that I thought I would be embarking on, I feel like I'm fighting for something so much bigger than the spreading of good fashion and inspiration to the women around the world.
This project has become so much bigger than me and while I'm not usually the person to beg or sound desperate, I'm down on my knees in complete humility asking for you help. This is not about me, and more than anything...this is not about me making a profit. If you read my last blog post you know that I am sending 20% of my profit to an organization called Women At Risk, Int (WAR). Their mission is to bring women that have been forced into human sex trafficking out and into a safe-house. They not only provide protection for these women against this extremely dangerous act, but they give them a job making jewelry as a way to make money. And btw, this jewelry is STUNNING!
My goal is to be able to send $1000 to this organization from the selling of these shirts. But in order to do that I need to sell $5,000 worth of t-shirts, which is an astounding 625 t-shirts to be exact! Right now as I type this...I'm already feeling defeated because that sounds absolutely crazy to me. Impossible even. And I'd love to be able to do that in a 2 week time frame! But here I am 48 hours into my launch and I've sold 22 items.
You guys (picture me begging, because I am practically on my knees right now), I NEED YOU. There's only so much I can do to spread the word and I'm going to continue to do all I can do to accomplish what most would deem impossible, knowing that failure or success does not define me; I want to make an even bigger impact, and come what may...I want to empower these women to continue living courageously, boldly, and bravely. But something greater needs to happen...that's why I would be incredibly honored if you could help me out; Every like, share, comment, and purchase goes an extremely long way!
Please...partner with me in...help me make the impossible possible. Share this blog post or give back by picking out your very own "She Is Brave" tee below! A little goes a long way!
