You know when you’ve been staring at the same thing for so long that after a while you just need to change it up for it to not look so…THE SAME anymore!? Well, that is exactly what happened to me with our living room; after a deep cleaning day GONE WRONG, I decided it was time for a change.
Around a year ago this time, I posted our Farmhouse Living Room Reveal and was absolutely in LOVE with our new space. But after a years time, I needed to revamp what we had going on here. That’s why I’m calling this the “Neutral Living Room Retouch” because I didn’t change any of the pieces, I just merely switched where everything was located. Giving it a fresh new look and feel! I also added some DIY pieces that gave this space the extra pop of color that it needed.
I also want to note, that while I would normally be all decorated for fall right about now, this year, due to our spending fast (learn more about that in this recent podcast episode) we decided to opt out of spending money on more decor and just rock this mini facelift. Which I could not be more happy with. To see the before of this space you should really go check it out [HERE]. I really hope you all enjoy!
Neutral Living Room Retouch
I obviously love to decorate with a lot of antiques and WHITE but I love that old world meets new world look with an ounce of femininity and greenery. I will be coming our with a DIY blog post VERY soon about how I made these fun and elegant faux greenery wreaths so that you can put them in your home too! And please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
As always, thank you for stopping by! Be sure to check out my other home decor posts below!
