How To Recreate A High End Nursery On A Budget

This nursery from Style your Senses was high on our wish list. From the adorable girly accents to the to-die-for Anthropologie wallpaper, we were absolutely in love with this nursery. We thought it might be a fun idea to recreate this nursery on a budget. In order to recreate this adorable room for less money we used items from Target, Walmart, Ikea & Lowes to recreate the same girly ambiance for a fraction of the cost.
The Jenny Lund Recliner by Ikea priced at $219 was a comparable (and seriously less expensive) look-a-like to the Pottery Barn Glider used in the inspiration room which was priced at a whopping $1,059.
Next up was the lust-worthy Anthropologie wallpaper priced at $3 per square foot...it is  AH-MAZING, but we managed to find an equally worthy floral wallpaper on Wayfair.com for less than half the price. This Modern Leaf floral wallpaper is priced at only $1.25 per square foot.
The Jenny Lind crib priced at $219 at Walmart was the SAME one used in the inspiration room and because Jenny Lind cribs have such an iconic look, we decided to stick with this crib in our own room, mostly because it's priced right and is a classic style crib.
We found this moroccan trellis rug on Rugs USA priced at only $117 which was a close ringer to the one used in the inspiration room and priced at an amazingly low price! The baby blankets draped over the crib were easy to replace with the turquoise & pink Xhilaration throws from Target priced at only $24.99 each.
We went with a neutral baby bedding from Kohl's priced at $115 to give the same look as the Pottery Barn nursery bedding found in the inspiration room. The side dresser found near the glider in the inspiration room was replaced with this 3 drawer dresser found from Ikea. In order to create a similar look we recommend painting the knobs gold and applying wooden applique found at Lowes.
We loved the starburst mirror in the inspiration room and also fell in love with a similar shaped mirror found on Target! The Threshold starburst mirror is priced at only $40. The light pink curtains and pillow were recreated with items from Target. We used the lightblock twill pink curtains  and the shabby chic pillow sham both priced at $19.99 to give the same girly, feminine feeling as the inspiration room.
Style for Senses used this black chandelier from Lowes & painted it gold to match the room. While we would have loved to find a lower priced item, we just couldn't find one anywhere and therefore decided to use the same chandelier found here. Now that we've recreated this look on a budget, we'd love to hear what you think? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think!
