This past week we spent our Christmas up in the Smokey Mountains, gathering together to celebrate the most momentous event in history. Fifteen of us huddled under the comfort of our Rocky Top cabin, witnessing each morning as the fog settled on the mountains. It was truly a magical site to behold.
All the cousins (5 in total) were in heaven as they splashed in the pool, ran in the rain, opened presents on Christmas morning, sang carols among the mountain tops, and created laughter that filled every crevice of that log cabin.
My mom and dad. Two of the most amazing human beings to ever walk this earth were the reason for this spectacular adventure in the mountains.
My sisters. My best friends. They are my most treasured companions and they have been by my side since I entered this world. Being the fourth girl in the bunch I learned a lot from these women. They taught me how to be brave, sympathetic, fun, courageous, generous, loving, and so much more.
These two have cultivated such a beautiful depiction of what it means to be family. Mimi and Poppy you're the best.
These two men....there are literally no words. They will forever have my heart.
My oldest sister (Hannah) and her incredibly hubby Fred.
Ezra Louise (aka Ezzie Lou, age 5).
Needless to say, our adventures in the Rocky Mountains will be one for the history books.
XOXO, friends. As always, thank you for reading!
