Today we see our precious baby #3 for the first time. We get to watch our baby move, see his/her heartbeat, and check for signs of thumb sucking and wonderment all through the lens of technology.
These last twenty weeks I've watched my body change (for the third time) and without fail I continue to be amazed at the way the Father so intricately designed our female bodies. As early as 16 weeks I began to feel this baby move, from the inside out I felt this baby kick and wiggle around stronger than I ever felt any of my babies move at this gestation.
This pregnancy...though unexpected and unplanned has given me such a deep understanding of what it means to truly surrender to the plans of the Father. Over the last year I have watched as Rozalyn and Justus have grown as siblings and as best friends. Their love for one another goes deeper than anything I have ever witnessed; they have this indescribable way of comforting one another in a way that I can't and each morning their faces glow with the same fascination they had the day they first laid eyes on one another. I can't wait for this baby to experience that same love from his/her brother and sister.
We've had many people ask us so I thought I'd set the record straight for those who may be wondering as well. Guy and I decided that this time around we would not find out the gender of this precious life. With Justus and Rozalyn we had such a fun "reveal" of their genders but now that we have one of each we thought it would be just as fun to wait with anticipation the rest of the 20 weeks! Yay!
